“(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding” (1974) is a song written by English singer-songwriter Nick Lowe, and made famous by Elvis Costello. I’ve been playing this song for years, solo and with my band. I really feel connected to the words and spirit of this song when I play it. Here’s an unplugged version sitting @ my desk.

I wrote this song years ago after watching another politician on TV, saying how great things were under his watch. This is one of those songs that magically appear, screamin’ to be put on paper. In this video I’m on the deck @ the compound, backed by the local birds, doing an unplugged version of “How Rosy it’ll Be”. Below you can listen to the full band version as it appeared on Oasis Disc Manufacturings Rock & Roots Sampler…..

“Lonely Street” is a song I have battled with for a long time. It’s my anthem to single Moms and the courage they must possess to maintain some family stability, while having to go it alone. This video is me testing the first verse.

This video was created by the Distrokid Meme Generator. I find it amazing how in sync it is with my song “Mr. Citizen”.  I really like it and wish it could have been longer than the 1 minute Generator output.
