Before my Musical partner in Crime Chip Wills died last year, we were sitting around in his Home Studio, during the first days of recording in it and trying to think of a good name for the studio. Since he lived on Russell Rd., I suggested Russell Shoals Recording, a little takeoff on the infamous Muscle Shoals Recording. This was the Logo he and I designed.
